Drooid Privacy Policy

We (Veritometrics Technology Private Limited, or "Drooid") respect your privacy and take it seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your data when you use our website (https://drooid.social, "Website") and/or our mobile application ("App"). Together, the Website and App are referred to as the "Platform".

References to "we," "our," "us," or "Company" mean Veritometrics Technology Private Limited. References to "you," "your," or "user" mean any person or entity using the Platform.

This Privacy Policy is part of and must be read in conjunction with the Drooid Terms of Use. By using the Platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to the use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described herein. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use the Platform:

1.1 Information You Provide

• Personal Information: Display name, email address, third-party sign-in credentials.
• Optional Information: Location, profile details such as username (real or pseudonym).
• Preferences: Account settings for personalized experiences.
• Camera and File Access: Required only for uploading profile pictures. Images are not stored or shared beyond display use.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage Information: Posts, comments, saved content, interactions, Direct Messages (metadata, recipients, content, timestamps).
• Location Information: Approximate (via IP) or precise (if enabled).
• Log Information: Pages visited, referring sites, search terms, access times, carrier details.
• Analytics: Third-party tools (Mixpanel, Microsoft Clarity) for behavior tracking, performance, and engagement metrics.

1.3 Information From Third Parties

• Account Connections: Data from integrations or linked services.
• Other Users: Reports or interactions involving you.

1.4 Google Sign-In

If you choose Google Sign-In, Google provides an ID token that our server verifies. We use the name, email address, and profile photo in that token, when provided, to identify or create your Drooid account and display your profile. We store the resulting account details while your account is active, as described in Section 4. We do not receive your Google password. We do not use the Google account information received through Google Sign-In to train our AI models.

2. How We Use Information

2.1 Operate and Improve Services

2.2 Safety and Security

• Verify identity, authenticate accounts, prevent fraud/abuse.
• Investigate and enforce compliance with laws/policies.

• Send marketing messages (opt-in only).

2.5 Research and Testing

• Conduct surveys, research, troubleshooting.

3. Sharing Information

3.1 When You Post or Share

• Public: Profile and content may be visible to everyone, including search engines.
• With Other Users: Likes, reposts, messages may be visible based on settings.

3.2 With Third Parties

• Integrations: Data shared if you authorize third-party integrations.

5. Audience Restrictions

The Platform is not for children under 13. Users must be of legal consent age in their jurisdiction; otherwise, parental consent may be required.

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated, and you may review updates before continuing to use the Platform.

7. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

Drooid offers auto-renewable subscriptions (“Drooid Pro”) to provide premium features. By purchasing a subscription through either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you agree to the following:

1. Payment & Renewal
   Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or yearly) unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
2. Managing Subscriptions
   You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings for the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Deleting the Drooid app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
3. Trial Periods
   If a free trial is offered, any unused portion will be forfeited once you purchase a subscription.
4. Pricing
   Subscription prices are displayed within the app and may vary by region. Taxes or fees may also apply depending on your location.
5. Agreement
   By subscribing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the applicable app store’s End User License Agreement (EULA):

8. Disclaimer

We implement reasonable security measures, but internet transmission is never fully secure. Use the Platform at your own risk. Once received, your data is protected against unauthorized access.
